Nathan Thomas

Waringarri Aboriginal Arts
"I was born and raised in Halls Creek. My grandmother, Lorna Thomas, was an artist at Warmun and she inspired me to paint and create all sorts of art since I was a young boy. I used to win art competitions in school all the time when growing up. I enjoy wood carving, boab nut painting, drawing and I am passionate about learning more. My grandfather used to make artefacts and animal sculptures from wood which also inspire me to make similar things.

I always wanted to be an artist."
