Gwen Clarke

Gwen Clarke was born in the mission at Oombulgurri (Forrest River) in a stone house that her father built. She married a man from Kalumburu and has five children. Gwen worked at the Oombulgurri School and Theda Station but now lives in Kalumburu with her daughter.

Gwen likes to base her paintings on the subject of the country known as Oomarri, situated on the King George River.
