Cassaria Young Hogan

Ninuku Artists
Cassaria Young Hogan was born in 1997 in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). Her mother is Susan Young and her father is Timo Hogan, though artists Amanyi and Stanley Young have looked after her since she was a little baby. Cassaria grew up in Kalka community and attended school in Pipalyatjara. An emerging artist, her contemporary works tell the stories of bush trips- digging maku and making cups of tea on the homelands of her grandfather Stanley’s Country around the Wataru protected area, 100 kms south-west of Pipalyatjara.

Cassaria is a very successful emerging artist and won the $20,000 Kings School Art Prize in 2022. She is part of a prolific artistic family, including her Grandfather Stanley, her father Timo Hogan, and aunt Carol all of whom exhibit nationally and internationally.
